Fintech Nexus USA 2022 (previously LendIt Fintech) is one of the most fintech-focused events we have attended this year. We were excited to join our investor, Carey Ransom, and his team at BankTech Ventures, along with several portfolio members and accelerator participants, including Fintel, NyDig, and DocFox. The event allowed us to engage with many technology-leading organizations providing solutions for both consumers and financial institutions.
One of the reasons we attended the annual conference this year was its primary focus on embedded finance – the deployment of financial services into unorthodox spaces. Based on the event’s agenda, speakers, and participating companies, it was apparent that this movement is a reality for the financial services industry. Additionally, we are excited to see the industry driving hard with new revenue-generating opportunities such as sponsor banking and leveraging new assets enabled by blockchain and cryptocurrencies. There is a new wave of fintech sweeping the industry, and the event successfully showcased many of the organizations at the forefront.
